Mom's quilt block for May reflects what she loved so much --- flowers! There are so many that they cannot be contained by the block boundaries and they spill over onto border and blocks of April and June. I think Mom had a fun time inventing this block as she went along. I love the tiny stitches on the layers of skirt and blouse on this sunbonnet girl.
