Today I spent the morning hours, trying to figure out the best fabric choices for a quilted table runner I am making. The design that's in my head is for a table runner with a cross-stitched design in the center of a panel with quilted patchwork blocks on each side and borders encompassing them all. I was able to find colors that I am happy with; just the right amount of coral and pink. But, putting them together in a way that pleases me is more difficult than I expected! I'm still working with color placement and tomorrow will consult with my friend, Karleen. She has an eye for quilt blocks and color. I'm sure she'll be happy to help me out. Stay tuned!
